Window Works

Window Works is a program that puts carefully curated artist's work in empty storefront windows. Because financial hardships can sometimes force restaurants and businesses to close, retail areas today often have empty storefronts that can reflect badly on their overall economic health and ability to draw people to their area.

In the Window Works program, we work with each individual building owner and/or broker to determine the best visual solution for bringing life to their windows. Then with their approval we install and light the art in the space. The building always remains closed and safe.

We've seen that even a few well curated pieces of art can change a viewer's impression immediately about a space. The art and lighting says the owner or broker wants you to know the space isn't abandoned, that it's valuable and very much worth the asking lease price. When the space is leased, the art is easily removed and replaced by the new business and its people.
